In his capacity as a chartered surveyor and building consultant, with over 40 years experience (25 of them in Caithness) in the property and construction sectors, Peter Body provides a range of surveying and project management services to both private and corporate clients throughout the north of Scotland.

He specialises in the Inspection and Certification of Domestic Structures (Self-Build Certification). This service will be of particular relevance to self-build house projects, where the builder employed is not NHBC registered. It enables you to obtain, on completion, a certificate stating that the property is considered structurally sound and suitable for mortgage or other financial arrangement.

For the record Peter is a Professional Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB).
